The Republican Mathematical Olympiad 2026 among university students was successfully held at Nazarbayev University in Astana from April 11 to April 12,, bringing together 44 students from 9 universities across the country. The event served as a dynamic platform for talented young mathematicians to demonstrate their problem-solving abilities, exchange ideas, and engage in high-level academic competition.

Day 1: Opening and Problem Solving

he Olympiad began with an opening session, where participants were welcomed and introduced to the competition rules. This was followed by the main round — a four-hour problem-solving session featuring challenging and creative mathematical problems.

Day 2: Appeal Session

On the second day, an appeal session was held. Participants reviewed their graded work and discussed results with the jury, ensuring transparency and fairness in the evaluation process while also providing valuable feedback.
